Movement Synergy is for women, by women.
We provide movement based services that are based on the principles of Exercise Physiology and Clinical Pilates.
At Movement Synergy Allied Health we believe that movement is medicine. We have created a safe space for you to learn how movement can help you in improving your own mental and physical health and wellbeing.
We believe that when you give yourself the time to breathe and connect with your body magical things can happen!
We learn to be strong, we learn to be resilient, we can find that connection to ourselves that has been lacking.
How do group classes at Movement Synergy work?
Before joining our small group classes we ask for you to book an initial consultation. During which we discuss any relevant medical history, injury limitations & goals as well as an assessment of movement patterns and muscle activation.
From there you are welcome to either book and pay as you go, or we have package options for your convenience.
Class numbers are capped to ensure adequate supervision and technique correction for all clients. Due to this bookings are essential.
All classes are taught by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who is able to ensure you are exercising in a safe and supportive environment, whilst still challenging you to achieve your goals.
How much does it cost?
Initial Consultation - 60min, $125
Exercise Physiology Classes
Casual Class - $30
5 Class Pass - $90
10 Class Pass - $175
How do I book?
Bookings can be made through our online booking platform on our website or by contacting Dana via phone or email.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
We ask that you bring a water bottle, mat and resistance band (for Pilates and EP Strength classes). Mats and equipment are available for hire or purchase if needed.
I have never done any group exercise before, are the classes suitable for beginners?
Yes! We believe that everyone should be able to feel supported in achieving their health and wellbeing goals. If you are nervous about health conditions or previous injuries limiting your abilities or movements we offer private (1-on-1) Exercise Physiology and Pilates sessions as well.
We would love to see you in class! But, if you're still not sure here is what some of our superstar clients have to say:
I've been looking to get back into exercise for a few years but couldn't find the right place until now. Dana's Functional Strength class on a Wednesday evening is fabulous and I look forward to next week. I felt comfortable and fully supported throughout the class in a safe environment.
This is the first time in almost 12 years that I have consistently attended classes & have the interest and motivation to keep going. I feel stronger, have more energy & my body is in fair less pain.
Attending Dana's group classes each week has been one of the easiest ways for me to stay consistent with my exercise. I love the group energy and I always leave Dance Cardio with a smile on my face.
